用英語演講,不要用太多 I feel, I think,老是用I,顯得十分主觀,狹隘。如果通篇全是 I feel, I think 的內(nèi)容,會(huì)給人覺得缺乏說服力。 比如:You should not smoke.
Thank you very much for your attention。
1)多用實(shí)詞,多用短句,少用結(jié)構(gòu)復(fù)雜的長句在英語演講中,and, but, so, then 等虛詞
honorable judges, distinguished guests, ladies and gentlemen, good evening! I feel really honored
to stand here and make a speech.
Good morning everybody! It's my honor to speak here, and I am very glad to share my topic with
you. Then today I'd like to talk something about......

I love English
As everyone knows, English is very important today. It has been used everywhere in the world. It
has become the most common language on Internet and for international trade. If we can speak English well, we will have more chance to succeed. Because more and more people have taken notice of it, the number of the people who go to learn English has increased at a high speed. But for myself, I learn English not only because of its importance and its usefulness, but also because of my love for it. When I learn English, I can feel a different way of thinking which gives me more room to touch the world. When I read English novels, I can feel the pleasure from the book which is different from reading the translation. When I speak English, I can feel the confident from my words. When I write English, I can see the beauty which is not the same as our Chinese... I love English, it gives me a colorful dream. I hope I can travel around the world one day. With my good English, I can make friends with many people from different countries. I can see many places of great interest. I dream that I can go to London, because it is the birth place of English. I also want to use my good English to introduce our great places to the English spoken people, I hope that they can love our country like us.I know, Rome was not built in a day. I believe that after continuous hard study, one day I can speak English very well. If you want to be loved, you should learn to love and be lovable. So I believe as I love English everyday , it will love me too. I am sure that I will realize my dream one day!
Thank you!

Trust and Love
Good evening, everyone! Throughout my years of being a student, I’ve had many teachers. None
of them are the same, but the one that I’ll never forget and will always miss is my Chinese bilingual teacher in the middle school I attended in Seattle, Ms. Ho. She was a skinny, but stylish lady in her
50s. She was different from all the other teachers because she gave me something unforgettable.
Ms. Ho and I became friends right in the first semester I was in that middle school. At the same
time, I was having a really hard time with my subjects. Since I had just transferred from a bilingual
school, where I had stayed for two months after arriving in the US, my English washorrible; my average grade was below C. I almost thought it impossible to learn English. Then, one day she told me she strongly believed that I was capable of controlling my life, and I would be just
fine. She said that she found we were much alike: Both were stubborn, kind-hearted and a little bit simple-minded. She believed that I had the quality of becoming wise. She even said that she didn’t have any worries about me, about my not learning English. With her encouragement, I found

President of the United States proclaimed the fourth Thursday of November as Thanksgiving Day every year. The celebration of Thanksgiving Day has been observed on that date until today.
The pattern of the Thanksgiving celebration has never changed through the years. The big family dinner is planned months ahead. On the dinner table, people will find apples, oranges, chestnuts, walnuts and grapes. There will be plum pudding, mince pie, other varieties of food and cranberry juice and squash. The best and most attractive among them are roast turkey and pumpkin pie. They have been the most traditional and
favorite food on Thanksgiving Day throughout the years.
Everyone agrees the dinner must be built around roast turkey stuffed with a bread dressing[3] to absorb the tasty juices as it roasts. But as cooking varies with families and with the regions where one lives, it is not easy to get a consensus on[4] the
1. died of:死于……
2. it was decided that a day of thanksgiving to the Lord be fixed: decide可是個(gè)讓你省事兒的好詞了。
4. consensus on:就……

Thanksgiving today is, in every sense, a national annual holiday on which Americans of all faiths and backgrounds join in to express their thanks for the year' s bounty and reverently ask for continued[5] blessings.
